
Kalfsbeek & Company is a public accounting firm incorporated in 1983 by Jane C. Kalfsbeek.
Our firm has always offered quality accounting and tax services such as: financial statement preparation, financial statement review, bookkeeping, payroll, income tax planning and preparation for both businesses and individuals. The firm also offers Quickbooks setup and consulting.
Along with these traditional services, we provide consulting services to our clients to make them more successful.
We believe in providing services that will help our clients achieve their fullest potential. Our goal is to help them look to the future instead of just reporting on the past.
Meet the Professionals
Jane C. Kalfsbeek
Jane Kalfsbeek is the President of Kalfsbeek & Company and a Certified Public Accountant. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis. She has also completed a Master of Business Administration in Taxation from Golden Gate University and has over 25 years experience in public accounting. Over the years, Jane has developed an enormous variety of experience and technical competence in the fields of accounting and tax. She is a regular featured speaker on these subjects.
Jane is active in various nonprofit organizations and is currently the President of Stockton Estate Planning Council. She is past President of North Stockton Rotary Club and a graduate of the Leadership Stockton program sponsored by the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the Board of Directors and Loan Committee for Women’s Business Opportunities, Inc.
Donna G. Hammel
Donna Hammel is a co-owner of Kalfsbeek & Company and a Certified Public Accountant. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Kansas. She has over 10 years experience in public accounting and 10 years experience in the financial services industry. She has developed recognized skills in the area of taxation and accounting.
Donna is also involved in several community organizations. She is the Board President of New Directions. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Library and Literacy Foundation of San Joaquin County and a member of Stockton Women’s Network.
Shirley O. Fulgham
Shirley Fulgham joined our firm in 1994. She is both an Enrolled Agent and a Certified Public accountant. Shirley is also a Certified Quickbooks Proadvisor. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the financial services field for over 20 years, including fifteen years as a Customer Service Manager for a major California bank.
Shirley assists the firm in various accounting, tax planning, and tax preparation functions. She is also responsible for accounting and review services provided to Homeowners’ Associations.
Susan Gaydon
Susan Gaydon is an enrolled agent and has been with our firm since 1996. She has an Associate of Arts degree from Humphreys College and has over ten years experience in public accounting. Susan assists the firm in the areas of accounting, tax planning, and preparation.
Mary Anna King
Mary Anna King attended Humphreys College and Delta College and has forty years experience in public accounting. Mary Anna assists the firm in the areas of bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll and assists clients in setting up their bookkeeping systems.
Irene Trudel
Irene Trudel has worked in public accounting for 15 years and joined the firm in 1991. She assists the firm in bookkeeping and administrative activities. Irene’s previous work experience includes management and administrative positions in private industry.
Diane L. Sharp
Diane Sharp has worked in the accounting profession for over 35 years and joined the firm in 2005. Diane’s previous work experience includes 15 years as a tax preparer/instructor and 20 years as an associate with accounting firms. She assists the firm in tax preparation, accounting, and payroll.
Sue Dron
Sue Dron has over 20 years experience in bookkeeping and tax return processing. She assists the firm in bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation.
Bonnie B. Mills
Bonnie Mills has 40 years experience in accounting in the private sector and was a co-owner of a plumbing contracting company. She is the past President of the Soroptomist Club of Calaveras County and was also active in the Boosters Club of Angels Camp and the Quarter Back Club of Bret Harte High School. Bonnie is the receptionist during the tax season and maintains the beautiful plants in the reception area.
